January/February 2007



Yoga Day USA 2007 was a huge success.  A total of 270 workshops were held internationally from Australia to Germany and nationally from Alaska to Maine.

Our 2007 major sponsors included: Yoga Journal; Yoga + Joyful Living; Hugger Mugger; Gaiam; WellWorks; Body+Soul Magazine; and Backbone Media.

Members took advantage of the media packets and marketing tools provided on our website and shared with us articles highlighting their programs in both local and regional papers.  Backbone media distributed over 200 press releases to local and national media outlets and Hugger Mugger included hundreds of YDUSA flyers in their shipments.

We want to hear from you!  Tell us about your YDUSA experience.  Send pictures, stories and copies of your press exposure in print, television or radio.  Share your experiences approaching the media.  Your 2007 experience may prove invaluable to others in 2008.

Also, let us know if you utilized any of the promotional items.  Did you get some Honest Tea for your fundraiser or use the Wellness Business Systems marketing booklets for ideas?  How did the Little Yogis CD’s work with your children’s workshops?
