Yoga Day USA 2009 in Cedar Hill, TX

We had a wonderful free class to celebrate Yoga Day USA this year at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center. This was our 4th year to host a community class promoting the health benefits of practicing yoga. We had a great turn out with lots of new folks experiencing yoga for the first time. The picture was taken at the end of our practice in Savasana enjoing our final relaxation. Aaahhhh!
I also taught another free yoga class at Paws for Reflection Ranch in Midlothian, TX that morning. It was our 1st Yoga Day USA celebration there, for they are a new non-profit organization in our community. We had a lovely class there with yogis as well as new folks coming to see what yoga was all about. After class we enjoyed some herbal tea and socialized getting to know each other better.
