Yoga does a body good! Saturday, January 23, 2010, was National Yoga Day and Quest Fitness in Ellicott City in Maryland was celebrating with a day of free and informative yoga classes for new students.  Since yoga classes at this location are taught in a gym, and many athletes hesitate to begin a regular yoga practice because they feel inflexible,  Olga Campora, PhD. RYT 500 had focused on specific topics that could be particularly beneficial for marathon runner, bikers and active people who haven't discover yoga yet.  Three classes were taught with the following topics: Yoga for Runners and Bikers, Yoga for Healthy Back and Yoga for Shoulders and Knees. The classes were full and many participants were amazed how GOOD they felt afterwards and were planning to start yoga in near future.  It was a great event, there were many in the gym who just have happen to watch only but  participated with open discussion about yoga afterwards.
